This Privacy Policy applies to SolidLG's website and intake flow (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described below. A companion Cookie Policy explains the specific cookies and similar technologies we use.
SolidLG is a technology platform that connects consumers with licensed insurance partners. We are not an insurance company, and nothing on the Service is an offer of insurance. Your eligibility, coverage, and final premium are determined by the issuing carrier after full underwriting.
We collect information you give us directly, information collected automatically as you use the Service, and information we receive from our insurance partners.
What we do not collect: SolidLG does not ask for Social Security numbers, bank account details, credit card numbers, or medical records on the public Service.
If you continue from SolidLG to a licensed insurance partner, that partner may share status updates with us (for example, whether an application was started, completed, or declined) so we can improve our matching logic and follow up appropriately.
When you ask to continue, we share the information you have provided with the licensed insurance partner we match you with so they can confirm eligibility and present an offer. We identify the partner to you before the handoff. Partners are contractually required to use your information only for the purpose of serving your request and in accordance with their own privacy notices, which we link at the point of handoff.
We use a limited set of vendors to host the Service, deliver email, detect errors, measure aggregate usage, and store media. These vendors process data on our instructions, under written contracts that restrict secondary use.
We may disclose information where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SolidLG, our users, or others.
If SolidLG is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will post notice on the Service before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We also do not share personal information with third parties for their own cross-context behavioral advertising without your explicit consent.
If you use the Service to request insurance information, you are a “consumer” for purposes of the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. We collect non-public personal information (NPI) from you and from your interactions with us. We disclose NPI only to our affiliates, to non-affiliated insurance partners you ask to be matched with, and to service providers acting on our behalf under written confidentiality terms. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards designed to protect NPI.
Depending on where you live, you may have the rights described below. To exercise any of them, email privacy@solidlg.ai from the address associated with your inquiry. We verify requests and respond within the time frames required by law.
California residents have the additional right to know the categories of personal information we have collected in the past 12 months, the sources of that information, the business purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we have shared it. California residents also have the right to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (SolidLG does not sell or share for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under the CCPA), and to limit the use of sensitive personal information.
SolidLG honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as an opt-out of sale/sharing for California residents. When GPC is present on your browser, we record it automatically; no further action is required.
Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out. Use the contact method above; we respond under the state framework that applies to you.
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we will require reasonable proof of authorization. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response with the word “appeal” in the subject line.
If you provide a phone number, you agree that SolidLG and our insurance partners may contact you at that number, including by text message and by automated technology, regarding your inquiry and the products you asked about. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe from texts, or ask the caller to remove you from phone contact. Providing a phone number is not a condition of obtaining a fit summary; you can complete the intake flow with email only.
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations (including insurance-record retention rules that may apply to our partners), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When we no longer need your information, we delete or anonymize it.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, audit logging, and vendor due diligence. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; you should not use the Service to send us information you do not want recorded.
The Service is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
SolidLG operates in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, which may have data protection laws different from those of your country.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will change the “Effective” date at the top and, for material changes, we will provide more prominent notice (for example, an on-site banner or email). Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
